Hey girl! So, you want to give your real hair a break and you're not sure whether a closure or frontal works best for you? Well after this post you'll be able to make a decision. If you still have questions, feel free to hit us up girl, that's why we're here! Okay, now let's get into it.

1. What's the deal with frontals?

Frontals are game-changers when it comes to achieving a natural-looking hairline. These versatile hairpieces are designed to mimic your natural hairline from ear to ear, giving you the freedom to part your hair anywhere you desire. Our frontals come with the ultimate parting space of 13x6, which means 13 inches across and 6 inches back. Whether you prefer a sleek middle part or a dramatic side part, frontals are definitely unmatched when it comes to versatility.

2. What's up with closures?

Closures are all about providing a natural-looking part. They are smaller in size than frontals and are mostly used to close off a sewn-in or glued-in quick weave. Our closures are 5x5, giving you 5 inches across and 5 inches back for parting space. Closures are perfect if you're aiming for a specific parting location, such as a middle or side part. While the location of your part can be switched on a closure, there is definitely more freedom to do so with a frontal. Glueless wigs can be shifted to change the part, but an installation involving glue or sewing of the closure may require a different placement to achieve a different part location than what was originally chosen. Closures are the perfect way to protect your natural hair and seamlessly blend with the extensions, giving you a flawless finish.

3. The battle of versatility:

When it comes to versatility, frontals take the crown. With a frontal, you can experiment with various hairstyles like ponytails, updos, and even braids. Since they cover the entire front hairline, you have the flexibility to create a more natural-looking hairstyle that matches your personality and mood. Closures, while limited in terms of parting space, can still achieve various styles and offer a realistic parting and hairline that enhances your overall look.

4. Maintenance and upkeep:

Let's talk maintenance girl. Frontals are definitely the brats of the two and require a bit more TLC compared to closures. Due to their larger size and coverage area, they may need more frequent touch-ups and adjustments. Proper maintenance includes regular washing, conditioning, and reinstallation to maintain their natural appearance. Closures, on the other hand, tend to go with the flow and are relatively low maintenance, especially if worn glueless. They require less frequent touch-ups and are easier to clean and style.

5. Your budget and lifestyle:

Just being honest girl, the 13x6 parting space and versatility of the frontal comes with a higher price tag. How much you're willing to spend and your lifestyle plays a crucial role in determining which lace is best for you.  If you enjoy experimenting with different hairstyles regularly and have the time to maintain and style your lace, a frontal might be the perfect fit. However, if you prefer a more straightforward styling routine and want to save a few coins, closures offer a great balance between affordability and natural-looking results.

Okay girl, that's our Ted talk on closures vs. frontals. Choosing between the two ultimately comes down to your personal preference, styling goals, and lifestyle. Frontals offer endless possibilities for styling and a more realistic hairline, but they require more maintenance. Closures, while more limited in terms of styling options, provide a natural-looking part and are relatively low maintenance. Consider your budget, the level of maintenance you're willing to commit to, and the look you want to achieve before making your decision.

Frontal or closure, the most important part is that you are comfortable and confident in your style. We hope this helps, and if you have any more questions feel free to message us!
